The Gandhinagar service center of Brahma Kumaris in Gujarat, held a Diabetes Awareness Camp on World Diabetes Day. The venue of this program was Peace Park in sector 28 Gandhinagar. It was organized in collaboration with District NCD Cell General Hospital.

Many prominent people from the medical fraternity of the area attended this function including Dr. Hasmukh Nayak, one of the foremost doctors of Gandhinagar, Dr. Anuradha Shekhawat, MD Ayurveda and Dr. Jigisha Patni from NCD Cell General Hospital. The occasion was used to discuss all aspects of Diabetes. Its causes, effects, prevention and cure.

Rajyogini BK Kailash, introduced the audience to the concept of Total Health through Rajyoga. She blessed everyone with a healthy life through connection with the Supreme Soul.

Dr. Jigisha Patni from NCD Cell General Hospital along with its staff, checked blood samples of 250 people and gave reports on their blood sugar levels. Handbills on Diabetes Awareness were also distributed to the masses.
